Barbara Fiorentino | Casting Director

Barbara Fiorentino is an Emmy award winning Casting Director and owner of Fiorentino Casting. She began her career in the Paramount Pictures Features Casting Department in 1997, where she worked under veteran Casting Directors Deborah Aquila and Sarah Finn. Since then, Barbara has worked with some of entertainment’s most esteemed directors and producers such as Mark Pellington, Marcos Siega, Marti Noxon, Greg Berlanti, Joel Silver, Brad Anderson, Jerry Bruckheimer, Gary Fleder, Clark Johnson, Paris Barclay, Peter Horton and Craig Brewer.

A proud member of the Casting Society of America, Barbara has been a film and television Casting Director for over 20 years and has always been an enormous champion for talent. Fiorentino began her television career casting the ground-breaking, critically acclaimed series “The Shield” (FX) and went on to curate dynamic ensembles for well-known and popular television shows as “13 Reasons Why” (Netflix), “UnREAL” (Lifetime) and “Blindspot” (NBC). In the independent film arena, Fiorentino has assembled potentially career-making casts for the upcoming Netflix feature/biopic of Motley Crue entitled “The Dirt”, along with the highly anticipated comedy “Eggplant Emoji” for Ben Stiller’s Red Hour. Other cult classic feature films include “Wonderland” starring Val Kilmer, “Factory Girl” starring Guy Pearce and Sienna Miller, and “National Lampoons Van Wilder”, starring Ryan Reynolds.
